Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.   -  Arthur C. Clarke

The new Plague Year has found us world telling stories in a different way.  We can no longer listen to stories in cozy rooms near home, but we have been visiting storytelling sessions all over the world, listening to stories told by old friends and new friends,  thanks to the technical magic of ZOOM.  Not everyone is comfortable with this, and as we all know, there is no new technology that does not bring with it many downsides, but we are grateful for these opportunities to stay connected. At times we have even been been able to experience a little magic.   It has also allowed for the capturing  and sharing a little of the experience in the form of a new sort of "field recording" - certainly more sophisticated that the last batch of "field recordings" I posted here a few years back. I offer a few  of my own.
