I have learned never to second-guess what listeners are experiencing. The drawing above was made by an 11-year old student with autism. It looked like he was was doodling and not listening as I told the story of Loki and Thor travelling to Jotunheim in Thor's chariot drawn by goats. I walked past his desk as the story ended and was dazzled by this Dickensian interpretation of Thor and Loki in the chariot and the wild-eyed goats..
