Listening Skills
Why do we have two ears
but only one mouth?
Because it is is twice as hard to listen as to talk
People need to practice and acquire skills to be good listeners. Information delivered by a speaker isn't information unless it is received by an active listener.
Nothing is as good as storytelling for honing this skill. Adults are always amazed to see how long a roomful of 10-year olds can sit still when they are engaged listening to a story.
